1 · Connect
Plug in the FM-1 with zp12 1.3 or newer running, close other music apps and editors that use MIDI, then connect. The browser asks for MIDI access with SysEx: allow it.

2 · Download a backup
3 · Restore
Choose a backup file. What it holds is written back exactly as it was, then the FM-1 restarts. What is on the FM-1 in those parts now is replaced: download a backup of it first if you may want it.
Good to know
- Stop playing first: the backup stops the sequencer, and the sound may click while the flash is written.
- Nothing else of sloopDX is in a backup or touched by a restore: its projects, presets and settings stay as they are.
- A backup of sloopDX's banks can be put back while zp12 runs, before you switch to sloopDX.
- The file is checked (CRC) before anything is written; a damaged file is refused.
- Please always check the latest firmware version: zp12.designburgapps.com/install.
